SHOP TOMORROWS™

Haley's deepest expertise lies in consumer-facing technical solutions solving the climate crisis, with a specific focus on resale (secondhand markets) and circular economies unlocking the value of goods already in circulation and optimizing their lifecycles. In 2018, Haley built ShopTomorrows a venture-backed social commerce marketplace for trading-up clothing and goods on a cashless, tokenized economy. Haley founded the company in 2018, grew it to become a thriving nationwide marketplace saving over 50,000 garments from landfill, and in 2023, ShopTomorrows became part of Swoondle Society - making it the largest trade-based marketplace of its kind.

FASHION POLICY

On Feb 2, 2022, a new act was set forth in NY State to promote sustainability in fashion by requiring an increased commitment to sustainability on the part of all companies with more than $100 million in revenue doing business in New York. The bill is sponsored by State Senator Alessandra Biaggi and Assemblywoman Dr. Anna R. Kelles, and backed by a powerful coalition of nonprofits focused on fashion and sustainability, including the New Standard Institute. While this bill, if passed, would be a watershed moment to hold brands accountable for their sustainability practices, the bill has left out key factors. Haley and industry colleagues have formed a coalition, The Fashion Policy Initiative, to support this legislation and ensure that measures like reuse and waste management are added to this significant bill.
